Panama will host this year’s Eighth Our Oceans Conference, which will take place in Panama City from March 2 to 3. As part of Panama’s efforts to build support for this year’s Our Oceans Conference and encourage ambitious national commitments, the Wilson Center and the Embassy of Panama in Washington will host a special dialogue on Thursday, February 9 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. (ET) with U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry and Panamanian Foreign Minister Janaina Tewaney on Panama’s goals for the Our Oceans Conference and the role of the United States in supporting global marine protection.
